PCA 2025 Annual Trade Show
POLICIES & FAQ
All who attend, exhibit, and participate in the PCA25 Show in any capacity will be held to the highest standards of personal and professional conduct. As such, all participants and guests agree you will not disrupt the activities of others, disturb or harass other attendees, staff or Show attendees, precipitate the intervention of security or public law enforcement, or in any other way disrupt the smooth operation of the Show.
PCA reserves the right to determine in its sole judgement when an attendee or representative of an attendee has violated the standards of conduct, and take any action deemed necessary to protect the safety of Show attendees and the public, up to and including immediate termination of trade show privileges, expulsion from the Facility, and barring the attendee or company from participating in future PCA events.
Policies
Smoking Policy
PCA has entered into a contract with the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center – New Orleans and host hotels for the trade show. These contracts specify designated smoking areas and times that Show Management, Exhibitors, Attendees and all other members or non-members associated with the Show must adhere to in order to be in compliance with these contracts. This is a serious issue that is important in order to be able to host future trade shows, not only in New Orleans, but throughout the country. Smoking at the PCA trade show is only allowed in the designated PCA convention and meeting areas during trade show hours. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the following restricted areas:
Common areas such as:
- Hallways
- Foyers
- Meeting Rooms
- Guest Rooms
- Hotel Lobbies
- Any non-smoking areas as designated by the host hotels and New Orleans Convention Center
Attendees and participants of the PCA25 Trade Show understand that if anyone who may be associated with, or a representative of an attending company, is caught smoking outside of the specified times and locations or in the restricted areas, that company may be fined $15,000, removed from the Show and banned from all future shows. Additionally, PCA membership may be suspended until the fine is paid in full.
Alcohol Policy
Attendees, exhibitors and all representatives agree not to disturb the activities of others in attendance, especially where related to the consumption of alcohol.
All guests of the PCA25 Trade Show are expected to drink responsibly and ensure they have a safe, responsible means of transportation before leaving the facility. Any guest who is intoxicated before entering the event may be denied entry to the facility. Any guest found intoxicated within the event and causing a disturbance, as determined by management, will be asked to leave the facility without refund and may be subject to further consequences.
Cannabis Policy
The possession, smoking or consumption of marijuana is NOT allowed at PCA25. Violators will be trespassed from the show and not allowed to return.
No edible CBD products may be sold or distributed at the New Orleans Convention Center, including as free samples, regardless of the THC concentration of the products.
Non-edible CBD products, such as oils and topicals, may not be sold at the New Orleans Convention Center but may be distributed or provided as free samples on the condition that the product is not adulterated or misbranded in any way. Smoking CBD products at the New Orleans Convention Center is strictly prohibited and violators will be trespassed from the property.
No Synthetic CBD may be distributed at the New Orleans Convention Center. Synthetic CBD means any cannabinoid that is produced artificially, whether from chemicals or from recombinant biological agents (such as yeast or algae) and which is not derived from a plant of the genus Cannabis.
THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) THC, including Delta-7, Delta-8, Delta-10 and any other structural, optical, or geometric isomers of Delta-9, is a Schedule I Controlled Substance under Louisiana law.
